About the Manager and Trainer

Safety On-Site Services Manager and Trainer Royd Kennedy GM Dip PM; Dip FI –  recently retired from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services – is a highly-respected and decorated fire officer (George Medal for Valor, State of Kentucky Award for Valor; Charles Upham VC Award for Valor; Australia Day Medal, Commissioners Commendations and more) as well as a qualified and highly experienced trainer, Fire Cause Investigator (Dip FI) and Building Fire Safety Assessment officer.

A 44-year career in New Zealand Fire Service; Queensland Fire and Rescue Service and the Qatar Petroleum Oil and Gas (Dukhan) Fire and Rescue Services as well as a Fire and Safety Advisor to the United Nations in Bosnia, is hard to beat.

Vessel on-board approved Safety Management Systems (SMS) and emergency actions safety documentation is a requirement of Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ) on all commercial vessels over 8 metres.

Safety On Site Services provides QFES approved Emergency Evacuation signage and Emergency Evacuation written plans to comply with regulations ( QFRS Act 1990 and BFS Regulations 2008).

Remote, Resorts, Off-shore and Personal VIP services

Distance does not lessen legislative compliance. Safety On-Site Services can travel to remote areas, remote resorts and to off-shore islands including PNG to undertake cost-effective audits, staff training and other required safety compliance for buildings, vessels, and other locations.
